The Power of Money
Nobody said building a business was easy. But let’s be honest about how hard it really is and the price so many founders secretly pay. How many business owners do you know are on the brink of financial ruin and/or mental collapse? Money problems and mental health issues are intrinsically linked.
Entrepreneurs work long hours. We struggle with moments of anxiety and fear. We hear the success stories that bring so many entrepreneurs to hero status. At times some business owners, fear that everything might crumble. Admitting your weaknesses is taboo and “fake it till you make it” is literally killing so many. Not every business succeeds and not every business owner can be Elon Musk. Running a business is a stressful job that creates emotional turmoil. Entrepreneurs often juggle many roles and face countless setbacks--lost customers, disputes with partners, increased competition, staffing problems--all while struggling to make payroll.
I am asking my fellow business owners this month to not neglect your health. Your company, your family and this world needs your vision and brilliance. Do your best in managing your health i.e., get some sleep, drink water, and go for a walk.
